All my church commitments are over for Christmas so last night I could begin to relax as our little group got together for carols and readings. Only six of us gathered but it was nice. There were poems and funny readings and we each chose a carol - trying to pitch the starting note right so everyone can sing it is always tricky. Someone picked
Ding Dong Merrily on High and it was a challenge to see who could sing 'gloria' in one breathe - not easy when you start to smile or giggle! We rounded things off with mince pies, mini stolen and mulled wine. Nice.
Just loaded up my Christmas Playlist for you. There are a few songs you'd expect but it's not the run-of-the-mill Christmas songs. Enjoy.
