My son had the day off work so we decided to take Rue to Richmond Park, because for once, it wasn't raining. However, it was freezing. An icy wind hit you depending on the direction you were walking. Rue enjoyed his time off the lead and had a good romp while we shivered and made plans for how far we would walk before turning back!

We made it to Pen Ponds before retreating back to the car park, via the little refreshment hut by Pembroke Lodge. We drank our hot drinks in the car.
During the walk I pulled off my gloves a few times to take a few photos, and on the drive back out of the park we spotted a horse and cart. It was a difficult shot to take as we were both moving, and as I zoomed in with my mobile through the window, I lost sight of them. Finally, I snapped a quick shot, which actually came out pretty well. Luck!

At the weekend, the weather changed to almost tropical (I jest). Temperatures rose into double figures and on Saturday afternoon I was meeting some friends in London on the Southbank where the BAFTA Awards were taking place. Barriers were up everywhere as they prepared all the hoardings. I took one quick snap (not terribly successful) and on our way back to Waterloo station we spied a notice outside a coffee shop that made us laugh. We all took photos.

The outlook weatherwise this week is generally much better than usual. Maybe I will finally get out and about somewhere different, or at least enjoy the sunshine. Who knows?
