The days are ticking down.....

If you can't go and see it you can play it!!
The towns around me are getting Olympic fever.  We have a banner up in our high street and in Kingston, where the Torch Relay will come through in two weeks time, has bunting in the shopping precinct, the market square and some other roads.  Today there was a London Transport stand in the market square and they were handing out leaflets which contain advice on which roads will be closed because not only do we have the Torch Relay but also the mens' and womens' cycling road race and the cycling time trial.  I asked the man about getting in on the bus and was advised that on Torch Relay day the bus I take will be fine but during the cycling the bus will be diverted slightly but it shouldn't be too bad, just a bit of walking. Hope to see a few of these free events.  I have just found out which hockey matches we will be seeing and am thrilled that one of those teams will be Great Britain (womens)!

Next Wednesday Euphonix has its end of term concert so we will have a final rehearsal, this time with the band, before performing a mixture of pop, folk, world and jazz.  Looking forward to it.
