On Saturday 17th June I had the privilege of singing with Euphonix in a Jo Cox 'get together' event. It was a truly wonderful evening with a varied programme of music from Tamil, Early Music, classical, choral and a song specially written for the the event. Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks Jo Cox message seems even more appropriate.
It was great to see a good turnout and I met some people I didn't know were coming! There were two intervals - a chance to to have some snacks, drinks (it was a hot night) and mingle. It was wonderful to be part of this, and at the end our choir joined with Kingston Choral Society (and audience if they wanted to) in a rousing rendition of Jerusalem (one of my favourite hymns).
