What a lovely start to November, well in this part of the world. Had a day in Brighton yesterday and the sun was out and it was warm. Just needed a thick jumper much of the time. Had lunch in a beachfront restaurant, a nice veggie cottage pie washed down with a ginger beer (non alcoholic). Walked through The Lanes admiring the little shops and found an antique shop which was interesting to browse round. It was like seeing my past with all the old toys, furniture, clothes and the like.
The trees of autumn were a delight to the eye as they change into shades of red, gold, brown and green and with the sun on them they were glowing. Each season has it's own colours and even though winter can be stark with naked branches against a grey sky there is a beauty when the frosts lay on them and the sun pokes through and creates a jewelled world. My favourite season is summer. What's yours?
