Advent

Thought you might like to see the Advent cake I baked today.  I'm very pleased with it and I don't suppose it will last very long in this house.

Here is a little Advent poem to go with it.

Advent Flame

Yellow glow
piercing the darkness
fluttering breath
into stronger flame.
Urgent, ardent
He is coming,
the light is here,
the void is breached
and the waiting
is nearly over.
