Hampton Court Flower Show

A take on the Industrial Revolution
Here are some photos from the Hampton Court Flower Show which I went to on Friday with a friend.  We were rained on a few times but either sheltered under a tree, a stand or in a marquee.  We ate lunch in the marquee devoted to the 60's which included a fashion show.  I loved the displays there which were mainly Beatles orientated.  The concept gardens were great and there were stands selling everything you could possibly think of that might be termed as 'gardening'.  I was rather taken with the summer houses (I yearn for some space of my own even if it's in the garden!).  There was a huge Country Living marquee which smelled divine and a great scarecrow competition.  We squelched our way through some parts but when the sun was out it was strong.  A great day, though exhausting as apart from lunch we didn't sit down (not sure you can count a loo seat!).  Anyway, enjoy the photos.

Spot John, Paul, George & Ringo in the front!
