The sun was actually out yesterday so after choir practice I went down by the River Thames in Kingston with my sandwich and enjoyed watching the ducks and swans. I was joined by my eldest son and then we went for a walk further along the river and sat on a bench. It was lovely and so relaxing, like a mini holiday.
Today we are back to the rain and the wind is gathering speed as I type this - so much for the longest day. I long for summer.
What I need to cheer me up is some music. Here is one of my favourites. I used to love singing along to this....still do! Join me!
