Well, the old year is going out in a wet and windy blaze and we sit on the cusp of 2013 - the year our mortgage is finally paid off! When we took it out 2013 seemed an impossible date, it even looked alien! Yet here we are nearly twenty-five years later.
If I had to pick my personal highlights of this year they would be:
- Genius son finally securing a full time permanent job and seeing him happy for the first time in several years.
- The Olympics and Paralympics - what a summer!
- Being published in What the Dickens? magazine
What does 2013 hold? Who knows but there are a few celebrations coming up in our family, so things to look forward to.
